Will my image leave my device?
The tool reads and processes it in this browser. There is no image upload API, account, analytics or advertising code. Closing the page clears the working session; downloaded files remain on your device.
Why can’t it reach my KB target?
Every format has overhead. Detailed images need more bytes. Increase the limit if your form allows, try JPEG/WebP if accepted, or reduce dimensions only when the form permits. PNG does not support a lossy quality slider.
Will this work for my exam?
Use the current instructions from your own application. No exam presets or affiliation are claimed. This tool checks dimensions and bytes, not background rules, identity, signature validity or portal acceptance.
Can I use centimetres or DPI?
This tool outputs pixels. A form that specifies physical dimensions or DPI may have additional metadata rules; do not assume pixels alone satisfy them. See the dimensions guide.
